Here’s one I took this past summer. A garage door with peeling paint. It looks like maybe someone started – in the top left corner – to scrape it in preparation for a new coat of paint but then never got around to finishing the scraping. Or the painting! Life does tend to rearrange one’s priorities rather suddenly and maybe that’s the story behind this unfinished project.

Rusty Steel Rods   no comments

I discovered a fenced off area in my neigbourhood which housed what appeared to be an assortment of used construction material – perhaps salvaged from a recent building demolition – to be reused or recycled in the future.

I shot this one through an opening in the chain link fence. It seemed like a unique subject matter, and I liked the color of the rusted steel rods.
