This is my nephew T. participating in an informal street hockey game that our family organized over the Christmas holidays.
I noticed when first examining the straight-out-of-the-camera version that the hockey net looked a lot like the sort that hockey players used decades ago. And T’s knitted cap also seemed appropriately retro. And so I decided to try the “Aged Effect” filter of my photo editing software. The picture above was the result.

A man walking on Memorial Drive in North Bay approaches the railroad tracks. This photo was taken on a windy, cool afternoon in late October. The weather was much colder in October than it currently is now.
