This one accurately captures the look and the atmosphere of my town – North Bay – in Winter, right down to the discarded Tim Hortons coffee cup.

A giant bronze statue titled “Maman” created by Louise Bourgeois sits at the front entrance to the National Gallery of Canada.

Photographed in Ottawa on December 25th which, coincidentally, is the artist’s birthday. She is 98 years old.

This man was wandering King’s Landing Municipal Wharf while I was taking photos there. He was looking for snapping turtles, he said.

The body of water is Lake Nipissing.
